Corinthians 6:19-20 reads, do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought
at a price. Therefore, honor God with your bodies.
While we are supposed to honor God with our bodies spiritually by doing our best to stay away from sins and fleshly desires, we must also remember to take care of our physical bodies. In James 2:26 we read “For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also." We can pray for health and have faith that God will heal us and keep us from sickness and disease, we must also put in the work needed to be healthy and take care of our bodies.
In this newsletter, we will be focusing on how we can take care of our bodies through juicing. I came across several research articles stating that Americans are deficient in many nutrients and vitamins, like iron, magnesium, calcium, iodine, Vitamins D, A, and B12. So this is a great way to get a larger intake of minerals and vitamins that we may not be getting in a regular diet.

What exactly is "Juicing?"
Juicing involves using a machine to draw out nutrients from fruits and vegetables, which contain most of vitamins, minerals and nutrients in the fruit/vegetable.
I recommend investing in a juicer, I find it saves a lot of time. However if you do not have a juicer, you can also use a blender and use a cheesecloth to extract the juice.
What are the benefits of juicing?

Juicing Recipes
Here are 4 different recipes to help you ladies with getting started and the benefits. You can try doing this daily, but I usually juice over the weekends and make enough for the week. You can purchase an affordable juicer on amazon, however before I had a juicer I used water, blender and strainer.
I do NOT recommend adding any sugar, as the fruits add sugar. However, if it's too bitter, you can try adding a small amount of honey to add sweetness.
